Our Writers

SanaUniv has three contributing editors. Each covers a specific set of topics based on their background. Here is who they are and what they write about.

Marcus Holloway

Roofing & Home Services Editor

Marcus spent eleven years working in residential construction in Texas and the Midwest before transitioning to writing about the industry. He has inspected hundreds of roofs, pulled permits, and dealt with more insurance adjusters than he cares to count. He writes about roofing the way a contractor talks — direct, specific, and with no patience for vague advice.

His coverage focuses on repair decisions, contractor selection, cost expectations, and the DIY-versus-hire question that homeowners face when something goes wrong with their roof. He does not write about roofing products he has not researched, and he has a low tolerance for manufacturer claims that do not hold up in practice.

Writing style: Conversational and direct. Short sentences. Opinions when he has them. He writes like someone explaining something over a workbench, not from behind a desk.

Covers: Roof repair timelines, leak diagnosis, contractor vetting, material comparisons, DIY roof repair guidance, roofing costs.

Claire Whitmore

Digital Marketing & Education Editor

Claire worked in-house at a London digital agency for six years before going independent as a consultant. She has run SEO campaigns for small businesses, managed LinkedIn ad budgets, and sat through enough analytics reviews to know which numbers matter and which ones are noise.

Her writing tends to cut through the jargon that fills most marketing content. She covers tools, tactics, and decisions that practitioners actually face — not theoretical frameworks. On the education side, she brings the same sceptical, evidence-first approach to questions about how students learn and what makes higher education worth the investment.

Writing style: Measured and analytical. She backs up claims with data or says when data is missing. British spelling where it slips through. Slightly dry humour that surfaces occasionally.

Covers: SEO audits, social media tools, video search, LinkedIn advertising, student learning, higher education value.

Tariq Al Mansouri

Automotive & UAE Lifestyle Editor

Tariq has lived in the UAE for most of his life and has watched the country’s built environment change faster than almost anywhere else on earth. He writes about cars, infrastructure, and outdoor living in the Gulf with the kind of local knowledge that comes from actually being there — not from reading about it.

His car parking shade coverage is the most detailed you will find in English. He has tested structures across different Emirates, tracked heat reduction data, and spoken with installers, building managers, and vehicle owners about what holds up and what does not. He has no commercial relationship with any shade supplier.

Writing style: Calm and thorough. He explains things methodically, rarely jumps to conclusions, and tends to include context that Western writers miss when covering UAE-specific topics. Reads like someone who has done the research and is now explaining it clearly.

Covers: Car parking shades, UAE automotive topics, vehicle protection in extreme climates, local service reviews.
